Below are a list of credit cards that I’ve hand-picked for readers here at MTC*. I will break them up into different categories so it’s a bit easier to navigate.

Student Cards - If you’re like me, you’re a student with low income and very limited credit history. Student cards are typically easier to get than standard credit cards, and so they’re a good place to start if you need an intro card and can’t get one elsewhere.

Rewards Cards - Rewards cards are nice if you want to get something back. The Sony Card and Blue Cash offer some good incentives; I personally like the Sony Card even though I don’t have one myself.

Balance Transfer Cards - If you’re completing an AOR and want to add a few more cards that may be good for balance transfers, here are some that offer 12 months or more at 0%. I threw in a few business cards in here because they offer good BT options. They’re also a good idea to include in an AOR.**
